Freelance Video Editor

We're Milkman Digital, a media production house in The Hague. We produce commercials and branded content for DTC and B2B brands, managing their media year-round. As a result, a significant amount of footage passes through our edit suite in the Binckhorst.

The role

We are looking for a freelance editor who understands that the story truly comes together in the edit. You will cut commercials, branded content, and product films alongside our directors, working from our edit suite or using your own tools. Some projects are tightly storyboarded; others you will shape from a raw pile of footage and general direction. We are not looking for a one-off collaboration; we want editors we can partner with consistently. The footage matters, but timing, rhythm, and a sense of restraint are what keep an audience engaged, and that is what we are really hiring for.

What we need

• At least 3 years editing
• Commitment to at least 2 days a week
• A real feel for story and pace, not just experience with the software
• Comfortable solo and in a team
• DaVinci Resolve and Blackmagic are a plus
