Founding Product Engineer

Milkman Digital is a media production house and creative agency in The Hague. We make media for brands and increasingly run it for them year-round. Milkman One came out of that work: it's our own SaaS, AI trained on a brand, that learns a company's identity and turns it into on-brand content, strategy and intelligence. It is soon coming to Early Access. What it needs now is an owner on the technical side.

Milkman One is almost ready, and we need one person to take it the last stretch, get it into the market, and then keep building it with us. Not a contractor working tickets. Someone who treats it like their own.

The role

You'd take it to launch and lead where it goes next: shipping fast, iterating on what real users actually do, and keeping the whole thing solid as it grows. The stack is TypeScript and Next.js (App Router) on the front, Supabase and Postgres behind it, deployed on Vercel, with Stripe for billing. The interesting part is the AI layer: LLM pipelines on the Vercel AI SDK, MCP tooling, prompts, evals, and token and quality tracking. You won't be alone, there's a brand, a studio and a media engine around the product, but technically, the call is yours.

What we're really looking for

• You've taken software to market before, ideally a SaaS
• Strong with TypeScript, Next.js and React, and a Postgres backend like Supabase
• Comfortable building with LLMs: prompts, evals, agentic tooling, MCP
• Fluent with AI coding tools like Claude Code, and you use them to move fast without losing the plot
• You think in product and market, not just code, so you know what "ready to sell" means and what to cut to get there

The honest pitch

This is a chance to own a product that is almost at the start line, inside a company that already has momentum. If we build well together, there is a real path to becoming part of it (equity or partner). We're building a future here, not filling a seat.
